An event for local residents and families. Organised by, and run by, the community.

The second Heartsease Community Funday will take place on 7th September 2013, 12.30pm – 4.00pm on the recreation ground, Sale Road. This event’s theme will be Wizards, Magic and Mythical Beasts.

Working with The Old Bakery Cafe and Norwich City Council the event will have lots of fun activities which the whole family can get involved in, along with Local Officers from the Norfolk Constabulary.

Please contact the Heartsease Funday Team or speak to Chris at The Old Bakery Cafe, if you would like to become part of the organisation team, run a stall/book a table top sales pitch or do a display in the arena.

Run by the community, and previously funded by the Norfolk Community Foundation and Norwich City Council, the Heartsease Funday aims to offer local residents and families a place to have fun and also learn about the various activities and clubs which are happening in the local area. With exhibitions and shows at the funday from local charities and businesses in the community, it is hoped that this will come to be a yearly, anticipated event that the whole community will enjoy and be proud of.

Great! So how can I help?

The theme for this year’s funday will be Wizards, Magic and Mythical Beasts, so if you have an idea, why not get involved?

As you can appreciate, running this event takes time and funds. And while we have the time, we are looking for kind sponsors to help make this yearly community function a success. All involvement is welcome. Please get in touch if you would like to have a stall, do a display or help out in anyway.

We would greatly appreciate help with:
Event preparation, donations for prizes, flyer printing, stewarding the event, tables, chairs, gazebos, marquees, ground clearing and spreading the word about the funday!

Donations and funding will go towards:
Family friendly activities, such as play equipment hire on the day.
Venue, marquee and toilet hire.
First aid and health and safety provision.
